DRINOVSKY SBIRNYK
The Drinovsky Sbirnyk is a peer-reviewed yearly journal by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine) focused on the history and culture of Central- and South-Eastern Europe from ancient times to the present. The journal has been published since 2006 and accepts submissions of research articles, archaeographic materials, book reviews, and reviews of scientific conferences (symposia, seminars) that align with the publication’s focus. These submissions must not have been previously published. They can be written in English, Ukrainian, or Bulgarian and should be sent via e-mail: drinovsky@karazin.ua.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors who do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is 1.5 spaced; uses Times New Roman 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Research articles related to the publication’s focus and scope should be 2,500 to 6,000 words, including notes, in length, or longer if approved by the Editor-in-Chief. The book reviews and reviews of significant events of scientific life should be 1,000 to 1,500 words.
A digital object identifier (DOI) is provided by the publisher.
The title of the article (bold, separate paragraph with centre alignment) should appear at the top of the first page, followed by the information about the author(s) (name and surname, academic degree, affiliation, email address, and ORCID number).
The length of the abstract is not less than 1,800 characters, including spaces. It should comprise the following elements: subject matter, research questions and aims, a brief content of the article, the most important conclusions, and a list of 5 to 7 keywords.

The article deals with the features of the disclosure.

The structure of the article should contain the following sections: introduction (a problem statement, the relevance of the research, a brief analysis of the literature used to identify previously unsolved issues, research questions and aims, sources overview, and methodology), the main part (the substantiated answers to the research questions posed by the author), and the conclusions (summary of the results obtained and their theoretical/practical significance and specific prospects for the research).
In-text references should be indicated by giving the author’s (chief editor’s) name or newspaper title with the year of publication (if any), or archive abbreviation in Roman script and after comma pages in parentheses, e.g. (Davies 1998, 56), (Mir 1903) or (HDA SBU, 34). If there are several authors, only the surname of the first one is indicated followed by et al., e.g. (Statelova et al. 1999, 23). If several papers from the same author(s) and the same year are cited, (a), (b), (c), etc. should be put after the year of publication, e.g. (Mykolenko 2008a), (Mykolenko 2008b). If you refer to more than one work at the same time, enclose all the references within the same parentheses and separate each reference from the next by a semi-colon (Statelova et al. 1999, 25; Mykolenko 2008b, 42).
End references should be at the end of the paper under the title REFERENCES following the above requirements. It is written in the alphabetical order of transliterated literature without numbering, each position in a new paragraph. After each transliterated title, the original title of the work is to be given on a new line without a paragraph. The transliterated titles of articles and monographs, titles of collections, journals, and archival institutions should be translated into English. Translations are placed in square brackets. The original language should be indicated in parentheses at the end. In monographs, the name of the publisher should be translated into English, in all other cases it should be transliterated. The city of publication should be translated.
It is recommended to automatically transliterate the titles of articles or monographs into Ukrainian at http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia and into Bulgarian at https://slovored.com/transliteration/.
The list of references should only include the works cited in the article.
